3. Hosting (Website)
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, GitHub automatically collects server log data transmitted by your browser (IP address, date and time of access, data volume transferred, requesting provider). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable website delivery). The EU-US Data Privacy Framework provides an adequacy decision for transfers to the USA.

The website uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Umami sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not collect IP addresses. The Good News Android application uses Google AdMob, operated by Google Ireland Limited, to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

- IP address and approximate location
- Device type, operating system, and language
- App usage and ad interaction data

7. App Data & Network Requests
The Good News app fetches article content over HTTPS from denkstrom.org. The app itself stores no personal data on your device beyond what is required by the operating system (e.g. the system-managed WebView cache, which you can clear through Android's app settings).

Articles contain links to external news sources. When you click these links, you leave our website. We have no influence over the privacy practices of linked sites and accept no responsibility for them.
9. Cookies & Local Storage
