In August 2026, Turkish manufacturer Togg sold 2,939 units of its T10X model nationwide. The company was founded in 2018 and was in 2025 the top-selling electric car brand in Turkey, ahead of Tesla and BYD.
Togg was established on June 25, 2018, as a joint venture by Anadolu Group Holding, BMC, Turkcell, and Zorlu Holding, together with Turkish business and stock exchange associations TOBB. The first two T10X prototypes were presented in December 2019, series production began in 2022, and from March 2023 customers could order the SUV, with deliveries beginning a month later. After price announcement, Togg received 177,000 pre-orders for the T10X. The fastback T10F was unveiled at CES 2024 and launched on the Turkish and German markets in September 2025; both models each earned five stars in Euro NCAP crash tests. With production at the technology campus in Gemlik, which opened in October 2022, the domestic content share rose from 51 percent to 81.72 percent for the T10X and 83.9 percent for the T10F. In June 2026, the company celebrated its eighth anniversary with over 105,000 users.

In 2025, Togg sold a total of 39,020 vehicles of its two models and became Turkey's top-selling EV brand, ahead of Tesla with 31,509 and BYD with 19,679 sold units. The three leading brands together captured 47.5 percent of the Turkish EV market; Togg accounted for roughly 21 percent of the EV market. In the first five months of 2026, Togg sold 16,745 vehicles combined and achieved approximately 25 percent market share in the EV segment; the T10X led with 9,070 units sold, followed by the T10F with 7,675.
For January through August 2026, a model ranking of the Turkish vehicle market shows a different picture: from January through August 2026, the Renault Clio led with 31,643 sold units, followed by the Toyota Corolla with 22,009 and the Renault Megane Sedan with 19,938; the Togg T10X ranked fourth with 17,783 vehicles. Across the entire Turkish vehicle market, sales fell from January through September 2026 compared to the prior-year period by 15.45 percent to 627,977 vehicles, while the share of electric vehicles in the vehicle market rose from 18.0 to 19.3 percent. In September 2026, EV sales rose 17.1 percent year-over-year to 15,128 vehicles, with a market share of 23.7 percent.
2026 production target: at least 60,000 vehicles
Togg Board Chair Fuat Tosyalı told Bloomberg HT the company produced around 40,000 vehicles in 2025 and over 100,000 Togg cars are on Turkish roads in total. For 2026, Togg aimed for production of at least 60,000 vehicles, according to his January 2026 statement. By the end of 2027, annual capacity of the Bursa plant is to increase to 100,000 vehicles, with full capacity aiming for 175,000 units.
Comparison: Tesla and BYD in Turkey
Tesla was in 2025 Turkey's second-strongest EV brand but sold only 31,509 vehicles, less than Togg with 39,020. In October 2025, the Model Y was temporarily unavailable for purchase and returned in November with a renewed order base. BYD brought a total of seven fully electric models to Turkey and sold 19,679 electric vehicles in 2025 according to Daily Sabah. The entire Turkish EV market reached 191,960 vehicles in 2025 including range-extended models, representing 17.7 percent market share of the vehicle market.
Expansion to Europe
In September 2025, Togg began sales in Germany, establishing its first European market; initial deliveries occurred in Stuttgart. The T10X and T10F were previously presented on September 8, 2025, at IAA Mobility in Munich and were available for pre-order in Germany starting September 29, 2025. The company chose Germany as its first foreign market because of its large population with Turkish roots, offering potential buyers with ties to their homeland. According to Daily Sabah, market entries in France and Italy were planned for January 2026; according to Electrive, planning was also confirmed for market entries in the Netherlands and Sweden.
If Togg achieves the target mentioned by Tosyalı, annual production would increase from around 40,000 vehicles in 2025 to at least 60,000 in 2026. Parallel to vehicle sales, according to Daily Sabah as of June 26, 2026, Togg operated its own infrastructure of 22 experience centers, 76 service locations, and a charging network with 2,000 stations and over 5 million completed charging operations, achieving 27.3 percent market share in Turkey's charging network.
